Fideliopark in the Munich district of Englschalking

Fideliopark is an official housing development in the Munich district of Englschalking and is therefore also located in the beautiful Bogenhausen district. The neighborhood is bordered to the east by Freischützstraße, to the south by Englschalkinger Straße, and to the north by Fideliostraße. Fideliopark also takes its name from the latter street.

In 1864, a brickworks was located on the site of Fideliopark. At that time, there were numerous brickworks in northeastern Munich, most of which had to be shut down after the First World War. This one brickworks remained in operation until 1960. But when it too was shut down, it was decided to create Fideliopark. The developer was “Neue Heimat.”

The Fideliopark in Englschalking now covers approximately 32 hectares and provides housing for 6,000 people. There are around 1,700 residential units in various complexes, high-rise buildings, and point-to-point high-rises.
